Psalm 56: Message in a Bottle

PRAY:

  • Have someone slowly read w. 3-4 out loud, twice.
  • Have 1-2 people quickly share what word/phrase/concept connects with their life right now.
  • Talk to God about what you've read and reflected on.
(This can include thanksgiving, confession, petition, or simply telling Him how the passage makes you feel.)

• Ask: "Lord, where have I allowed fear to drive me somewhere other than to You?" Then ask for forgiveness!


PRAY:

  • Have someone slowly read w. 5-7 out loud, twice.
  • Someone share what word/phrase/concept connects with their life right now.
  • Talk to God about what you've read and reflected on. (This can include thanksgiving, confession, petition, or simply telling Him how the passage makes you feel.)
  • Ask the Lord to thwart any plans that the enemy has for you, your family, our church - and praise him in advance for doing that!

PRAY:

  • Have someone slowly read v. 8-9 out loud, twice.
  • Someone share what word/phrase/concept connects with their life right now.
  • Consider the fact that God knows (even better than you the ways that you are being attacked by the enemy. Spend some time praising the Lord for this!
  • Ask: "Lord, can you remind me of specific ways that you have shown that you are 'for me?'' Then, praise Him for those!!
